Autobase Plus solvent borne basecoat provides excellent coverage, metallic control and sprayability when used to duplicate OEM solid, metallic and pearl color effect colors. With the Autobase Plus system a wide range of popular colors can be created to achieve outstanding repairs in a minimum of time. 

Autowave is the basecoat color in the Sikkens waterborne two-stage paint system. It provides color accuracy and easy application. Autowave blends easily to provide an “invisible repair.” When used with a Sikkens clearcoat system, a glossy and durable surface is achieved.

Autowave Optima is the new generation one-stop application waterborne basecoat that supports body shops in delivering the perfect combination of productivity and sustainability while providing the quality and performance for which AkzoNobel’s premium basecoats are renowned.

This new basecoat helps achieve up to 50% faster processing times compared to conventional basecoat application methods. With perfect coverage in just 1.5 layers due to its high pigmentation, this results in paint material savings of approximately 15% on average.”
