    The 3M 5973, Rubbing Compound is a specially designed medium cutting compound for rubbing out 1200, 1500, and 2000 sanding scratches in automotive paints including clearcoats. 3M 5973 Rubbing Compound produces minimal compound swirl marks while buffing to a high gloss.
